“ HAPPENED TO BE A YADAV BY CHANCE ”-  Yogender Yadav AAP Candidate from Gurgaon

Dear Yadavs, – Please share your view on the following

The statement of “being Yadav by chance” made by Mr. Yogender Yadav Candidate of Aam Aadmi Party  for Gurgaon Parliamentary constituency published  in Hindustan Times (dated 21^st March 2014 at page 9) has shocked the Yadav community because we all are proud to be “Yadav”.

We should ask him that what is the problem in the Yadav Community which do not make him pride of being Yadav. If he is not feeling honoured to be Yadav there is a provision in our constitution under Article 25,26,27,28,30. to change/opt for any Religion as one’s  fundamental Right. He should change his religion adopting this provision. on one side he chosen this (Gurgaon) constituency to contest election because of largest population of Yadav Community voters but on the other side is giving this message to community. The voters of Yadav community may neglect him because of his negative attitude. The people here are now asking him about his contribution for Yadav community and towards this he has no answer. Hence trying to appease the voters of other community and trying to draw a line between Yadavs and others. Indeed it is not good practice of divisive politics in the name of community, cast and creeds. Such action should be discouraged?
